Watch Design
Client: ellesse
Brief: Watch Design
Born on the slopes in the 1960s, ellesse was born out of Leonardo Servadio's vision to unite cutting-edge sports technology with sophisticated Italian design. A pioneer in the field, Servadio infused traditional tailoring techniques into contemporary sportswear, revolutionising fashion. From the tailored ski trousers of the '60s to the groundbreaking styles that adorned tennis courts in the '70s, ellesse has always stood at the intersection of athleticism and aesthetics.
This project revisited Servadio's original vision. We crafted a fresh and modern collection of sport watches for both men and women with the aim to create timepieces that seamlessly blend performance with fashion-forward aesthetics, resulting in bold and distinctive silhouettes. With meticulous attention to detail, we carefully developed a new design system encompassing elements such as the dial, hands, markers, date window, strap, crown, and every other aspect to meet the high standards of today's fashion-conscious consumers.
